Left or Right

To determine whether a sofa is positioned to the right or left, stand opposite it and observe. Do not sit on the sofa. For instance, a left-facing sofa with a chaise implies that the chaise is on the left side when facing it. In the case of a corner sofa, the shorter side is considered the facing side.
